Therapy for Adults In-Person in Manhattan and Virtually Across New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida
therapy for heavy hearts, loud minds, and uncertain seasons of life.
even in hard times, we clarify what matters to you and help you move toward it.
One of the hardest parts of being human is that pain, discomfort, and loss are inevitable. When youβre in it, itβs easy to feel stuck and like youβve hit a dead end. No one chooses the kind of pain youβre enduring, be it new or long-standing, and it makes complete sense to wish it could go away. My work isnβt about pretending that pain is good; itβs about helping you use it as a turning point toward living a more meaningful and manageable life.
No, I didnβt borrow that line from a textbook; I learned it through my own lived experiences. Iβve been through my own struggles with grief, heartbreak, depression, anxiety, and the overwhelm of navigating multiple life transitions at once. I know what itβs like to be at an excruciating Point A: a place you want to get out of but are unsure of what next step you need to take to do so. I also know what itβs like to move toward, and arrive at, Point B: a place where life feels more peaceful, fulfilling, and grounded, even when things are still hard.
Because Iβve lived this process myself, I help clients do the same by:
Meeting you exactly where your Point A is β> Clarifying what a meaningful Point B looks and feels like for you β> Equipping you with the tools to move toward it, at your pace.

So how do we do this?
First and foremost, I focus on creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. My style is warm, relational, and human. Feeling comfortable together is our foundation.
From there, I work to understand you in the context of your life. We explore what youβre struggling with, how your mind works, how you tend to respond to emotions, and the patterns you find yourself stuck in. Together, we gently turn up the volume on every part of you, without judgment, and with curiosity and compassionate understanding.
We look at whatβs working and what no longer is. For the pieces that arenβt serving you anymore, we collaborate: You bring your lived experience on what has helped you and what matters to you, while I bring evidence-based techniques and approaches that help you build a better relationship with your thoughts and feelings, and move toward the values-aligned life you want to be living.
Over time, this work puts you back in the driverβs seat, not by pushing discomfort out of the car, but by letting it ride in the passenger seat while you live with more clarity, purpose, and intention.
If this approach resonates, I invite you to explore my specialty areas below or schedule a free consultation to see if working together feels like a good fit!
